Rocco Columbus

A 2006 graduate of the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, attorney Rocco Columbus has an extensive background in criminal, DUI, and traffic matters.

Attorney Columbus was born in Pittsburg, PA but moved to Newport News in 1987. He attended the College of William and Mary from 1998 to 2002 and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Government Affairs. Rocco started as a prosecutor in Brunswick County, Virginia before moving onto defense work. In 2011, attorney Columbus moved back to Tidewater to help people with their difficult legal problems.

Mr. Columbus has concluded over 1,500 cases and is a strong advocate for his clients. Some of these cases have involved traffic criminal matters such as reckless driving, hit and run, eluding police officers, driving on suspended license, DUIs to serious criminal matters such as larceny, sex crimes, robbery, and murder cases.

Thanks to his seasoned experienced on both sides of the law, Mr. Columbus knows how prosecutors approach cases.
